We move forward, we invest in the future, Zaev tells Gevgelija rally
Skopje, 30 September 2021 (MIA) - SDSM has shown that it implements huge projects and offers solutions. What has not been possible for decades is now a reality, Prime Minister and SDSM leader Zoran Zaev told the rally in Gevgelija on Thursday evening. Zaev noted that after 20 years, census was successfully conducted. “Over 99 percent of the citizens are counted, around 1.86 million citizens, 570,000 households and 840,000 apartments. We have shown who has the capacity and who does not. Now, in one hand we have NATO, and in the other the successful census. These are huge projects, which are completed,” Zaev said. SDSM, he added, offers solutions to problems at the local level as well. “SDSM and the coalition showed that they work on offering solutions. Gevgelija knows what is best, and its motto is a modern, European and green municipality. This motto is Pockov’s commitment. The direction is set to achieve the best. We need to move forward, and Sasho Pockov is the best for Gevgelija,” Zaev noted. Announcing investments in infrastructure projects, he also referred to completion of new premises of the kindergarten, a project worth Mden 53 million. The funds, he said, have been secured, the project has been approved and will be fully implemented. It is clear that SDSM invests in the present and creates a future. VMRO-DPMNE is not an option as it creates problems, a party that has almost the same leadership since the time of Gruevski’s regime, said Zaev. Prime Minister and SDSM leader Zoran Zaev, candidate for council member Mile Atanasov and mayoral candidate Sashko Pockov lead the pre-election rally. Atanasov pledged to be honest and committed to the task as candidate for council member. According to him, SDSM has shown that it has the best projects that are implemented and they bring development, while development brings a better life for every citizen. Earlier the SDSM led by its leader Zoran Zaev held rallies in Bogdanci, Dojran and Valandovo.
