Belgrade, 25 May 2022 (MIA) – We are satisfied from what we have. Relations among Serbia, North Macedonia and Albania have never been better, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told the World Economic Forum in Davos on the Open Balkan Initiative, MIA reports from Belgrade.
“People think we should pursue others in order to justify the initiative’s existence. We don’t. We invited everyone and we are happy with what we have. We would like to have more members and we have good cooperation with everyone,” President Vucic told TV Pink.
According to him, all those in favor of cooperation are welcome.
“There is a big drop of EU’s popularity not only in Serbia but also in North Macedonia. Some member-states must take the blame for this, it is not only our fault,” said Vucic.
At the forum sidelines, President Vucic met with Montenegro Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic, inviting him to attend the coming Open Balkan summit in Ohrid.
