Vučić in Skopje: Serbia remains consistent in sincere efforts to create atmosphere of mutual trust

Belgrade, 11 September 2023 (MIA) - Serbia, as always, remains consistent in its sincere efforts to create an atmosphere of mutual trust, understanding and respect, as shown through its numerous initiatives that open great opportunities for strong cooperation among the countries in the region, for the benefit of all who live in the Western Balkans, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said Monday ahead of the Brdo-Brijuni Process leaders' meeting in Skopje, MIA's Belgrade correspondent reports.

"I am thankful to the Presidents of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar, Croatia, Zoran Milanović and North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, for the warm welcome and for hosting this important meeting, where interlocutors from the region will discuss some of the key principles of regional cooperation, sustainable development, climate change and the policy of EU enlargement as a strategic point for future relations on the European continent," Vučić posted on Instagram.

He added that one of the key topics of discussion will be continuing comprehensive political, economic and social reforms, meant to keep young people in the region, which will further ensure the prosperity, stability and progress of all of Europe. ssh/nn/
