Von der Leyen in Skopje visit, to meet Siljanovska Davkova and Mickoski

  • European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is paying a visit to Skopje on Thursday within her four-day Western Balkans tour, meeting with the leaders of Albania, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo, and Montenegro.

Skopje/Brussels, 24 October 2024 (MIA) - European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is paying a visit to Skopje on Thursday within her four-day Western Balkans tour, meeting with the leaders of Albania, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo, and Montenegro.

EC chief von der Leyen is set to meet with President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova and Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski.

Von der Leyen and Mickoski will hold a press conference in the government’s media centre. Both will have their address and answer questions from journalists in the format 2+2.

Later in the day, President von der Leyen will continue her travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
