VMRO-DPMNE proposes inquiry committee in Parliament to probe Tetovo hospital fire
Skopje, 21 September 2021 (MIA) – VMRO-DPMNE parliamentary group is due to send to the Parliament Speaker a motion on the formation of an inquiry committee tasked with establishing facts and identifying political responsibility of the relevant authorities for the fire in a modular hospital in Tetovo, which killed 14 people. Someone has to be held accountable due to moral reasons for the Tetovo tragedy, VMRO-DPMNE MP Rashela Mizrahi said. “Unfortunately, Health Minister Venko Filipche is not that man neither is PM Zoran Zaev. Evidently, they show no sense of accountability for the tragedy that gripped Tetovo,” said Mizrahi. She accused the government of covering up the case instead of providing answers and taking responsibility in the past few days. Mizrahi also demanded political accountability since “no one has taken any ethical and moral accountability.”
