Skopje, 18 January 2022 (MIA) – VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski upheld the same positions that are previously known to the public, the party said in a press release on its leader Mickoski’s meeting with Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov on Tuesday. Talks focused on the current situation in the relations between the two countries.   “Participants in the meeting pointed to the need for building trust, open relations, and connecting topics and areas where mutual cooperation and benefit for the citizens of both countries is possible. Interlocutors stressed the need for cooperation on topics that will ensure a future, investments in education, science, Corridor 8, and other projects that are important for both countries,” reads the press release. Mickoski pointed out, it adds, that bridges, open relations and mutual respect is needed instead of blockades.
