Skopje, 13 May 2024 (MIA) - The Worth It coalition has told MIA that a meeting of working groups with VMRO-DPMNE on a possible coalition in the next government would not take place on Monday because the teams have not been set up yet.
Worth It says all political parties within the coalition should each nominate one representative that will take part in the talks with VMRO-DPMNE.
"A meeting of the working groups will not be held today. Representatives from all parties within the Worth It coalition and from VMRO-DPMNE are to be nominated and then we will discuss the alignment of programmes. Of course, it is expected that working groups meet in the coming days," the coalition has told MIA.
After a meeting with Worth It leaders on Saturday, VMRO-DPMNE said parties agreed on the basic principles for cooperation in the future government, which, they said, “will be based on three postulates: Euro-integrations, accelerated economic development, and fight against crime and corruption and rule of law”.
