Kumanovo, 25 December 2025 (MIA) - Zeqirja Tairi of Vlen is set to replace Bekim Sali as MP after the latter was elected Minister of European Affairs.

"Based on the information provided by Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi, the State Election Commission has drafted a report for verification of the mandate of the next candidate on the list, in line with the Electoral Code," said SEC President Boris Kondarko on Thursday.

Kondarko said Tairi has confirmed that he accepts the MP mandate for the remaining term, and the procedure on the mandate's verification will continue in Parliament.
