Veles company invests in environmental technologies and production capacities
Veles, 13 May 2022 (MIA) – Brako, a company located in Veles, unveiled Friday its latest environmental production line for galvanized wire designed to increase production.
Also, the company’s management announced the construction of a new hall where new vehicles from the green machines program will be assembled.
“It’s a completely new environmental line,” said Kocho Nagjushev, chair of Brako’s administrative board, adding that the machines for the new production line were imported from Spain.
Production of galvanized wire will increase four-fold up to 1,500 tons monthly, according to him.
The Veles-based company at the start of the Covid pandemic recorded EUR 10 million in production in the firm alone. EUR 21 million was registered in all other accompanying firms.
“We’re proud because 70 percent of the EUR 10 million had been invested in machines and the rest in halls. New technology had been acquired in order to increase productivity,” said Angjushev, who served as deputy prime minister in the Zoran Zaev-led government.
Visiting the company, Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski praised such investments especially since they were implemented during the largest economic and energy crisis.
According to him, new investments are also important for job creation.
“Investments in human capital are strongly supported by the government, which is also committed to creating conditions for the private sector to develop,” Kovachevski said.
