Brussels, 4 September 2024 (MIA) — Good exchange with Minister Murtezani on the accession process of North Macedonia, said in an X post European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi following his meeting with Minister of European Affairs Orhan Murtezani.

"Enlargement is our common goal. Agreed that there is no time to waste when it comes to completing the necessary steps. All tools are there to make it a great success for the people of North Macedonia," Varhelyi wrote.

Earlier, Murtezani told MIA that the meeting had focused on the country's European integration, the challenges and obstacles on its way to full EU membership, including the constitutional amendments, as well as the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans and the associated reform agenda. mr/
