Skopje, 31 August 2022 (MIA) – A storm as strong as the one that hit Skopje on Tuesday can happen once in 2-5 years, show readings and statistical research of the National Hydrometeorological Service (UHMR). Vast quantities of rainfall accompanied by storm winds, thunders and hail hit the Skopje valley, causing damages and floods in urban areas. Gazi Baba recorded 35mm of precipitation, followed by Creshevo (25mm) and Lisiche (20mm), whereas winds reached more than 65km/h.
