U.S. rejects 26 percent of visa applicants from North Macedonia in 2022

Skopje, 17 September 2023 (MIA) - The U.S. Department of State has released the visa refusal rate per country for 2022. In the list, North Macedonia's refusal rate stands at 26.29 percent.

In regional terms, 5.56 percent of applicants from Croatia have been denied visas, as well as 13.47 percent from Slovenia, 17.93 percent from Kosovo, 19.45 percent from Serbia, 19.91 percent from Bosnia and Herzegovina, 27.55 percent from Albania and 34 percent from Montenegro.

All applicants from Andorra, San Marino, North Korea, Monaco and the Marshall Islands were granted visas, while the only country with a 100-percent refusal rate is Micronesia, followed by Mauritania with nearly 90 percent.
