Skopje, 3 August 2025 (MIA) - Two firefighting planes have been deployed in an effort to douse a wildfire that broke out on Sunday afternoon near the village of Cerovo, in the Municipality of Zhelino, the Crisis Management Center said Sunday.

“The Tetovo Territorial Fire Brigade is intervening on the ground, and due to the challenging and inaccessible terrain, we also requested air support. We immediately submitted a request to the relevant institutions, and currently two of the Protection and Rescue Directorate’s Air Tractor planes are engaged in the battle against the flames,” said CMC head Muhamet Ali.
