Twelve Skopje schools, several shopping malls receive bomb threats

Skopje, 8 February 2023 (MIA) - Twelve Skopje high schools, several shopping malls, MRTV and the Transport Center have received bomb threats via email on Wednesday.

"Skopje police said that around 1:20 pm on Wednesday, twelve high schools, as well as MRTV, the Transport Center, GTC, Cevahir Sky City, East Gate shopping mall, City Mall reported receiving bomb threats via email," the Ministry of Interior said in a press release.

After receiving the reports, adds the press release, police officers took measures to safely evacuate the facilities and anti-terrorist checks are underway.
