Tupancheski – Stojmenova Duh: Slovenia gives support in EU negotiation process
Skopje, 22 September 2022 (MIA) – Justice Minister Nikola Tupancheski met in Ljubljana with Minister without portfolio responsible for digital transformation of the Republic of Slovenia, Emilija Stojmenova Duh.
Stojmenova Duh, who is a Macedonian-Slovenian engineer and politician, expressed readiness to help the country in the process of implementing digitalization in the judiciary and prosecution, the Justice Ministry said in a press release.
Minister Tupancheski briefed Stojmenova on digitalization in the country’s court system, which will be a challenge in removing the factors that lead to crime and corruption.
Interlocutors stressed the need for interoperability and greater digital connection of the institutions, reads the press release.
Stojmenova conveyed Slovenia's experience in this area, stressing that the Informatics Center at the Supreme Court has a major role in the implementation of the entire process.
“Tupancheski and Stojmenova Duh agreed to intensify cooperation between the two countries ahead of the negotiation process with the EU,” the press release adds.
