Trio Incendio from Prague to perform at Ohrid Summer
Ohrid, 2 August 2022 (MIA) – Trio Incendio from Prague, the Czech Republic, will perform at the 62nd Ohrid Summer festival. The trio consists of Karolína Františová (piano), Filip Zaykov (violin), and Vilém Petras (cello). Founded in 2016 in Prague, Trio Incendio has already established itself as one of the most emerging European chamber music ensembles, performing at venues such as Wigmore Hall, Philharmonie Berlin or Rudolfinum in Prague. The trio has won several national and international competitions like Gianni Bergamo Classic Music Award in Lugano, Coop Music Awards in Cremona, Concorso Musicale “Marcello Pontillo” in Firenze, Kiejstut Bacewicz Competition in Lodz, Concorso “Massimiliano Antonelli” in Latina or Bohuslav Martinů Competition in Prague, where they also gained the Special Prize for the best interpretation of the work by Martinů. Trio Incendio is a member ensemble of the European Chamber Music Academy, and has regularly participated in the International Summer Academy in Reichenau organized by the University of Music in Vienna. At the academy, they were awarded the Wiener Klassik Prize, Bohuslav Martinů Prize and Chamber Music Prize. In 2022, Trio Incendio makes its debut at the Davos Festival, Ohrid Summer Festival or Trondheim Chamber Music Festival. mr/
