Skopje, 30 November 2024 (MIA) -- Wet road conditions are reported across the country, with moderate traffic outside urban areas and no delays at border crossings. There is snow on Popova Shapka, Resen, Krushevo, Struga, Ohrid, Delchevo, Mavrovo, Bukovo, Gjavato, Preseka and Pletvar.

Fog has reduced visibility to 30-50 meters between Tetovo and Popova Shapka and at Pletvar.

Citizens continue protest by blocking Zrnovci – Ponikva regional road, and traffic toward Ponikva and the village of Beli is reduced to one lane. 

As of Nov. 15, 2024, winter equipment in vehicles is mandatory until Mar. 15, 2025, regardless of the weather.

As of Nov. 15, 2024, the Ohrid – Resen route through the Galichica National Park is closed to all traffic.

Landslides are possible along the routes of Katlanovo – Veles, Mavrovo – Debar – Struga, Vinica – Berovo and Kochani – Delchevo.

Motorists are advised to drive carefully, adjust their speed to weather conditions and follow traffic rules, signs and signals.
