Skopje, 28 December 2023 (MIA) - Ljupcho Janevski resigned as Director of the Agency for Promotion and Support of Tourism (APPT) on Wednesday. 

Janevski told MIA that he has submitted his resignation, citing personal reasons.

“I express my gratitude to the employees of the Agency and to the tourism sector for their cooperation over the past five and a half years. I believe that we have succeeded in transforming a forgotten Agency into an institution with a reputation during years of numerous challenges. I have always advocated for professional personnel in the right positions, and I have demonstrated this through my own example, through my work, effort, and dedication. Macedonia must move forward because the kind of state we build is the kind of state we will live in,” Janevski noted.

Ljupcho Janevski assumed the position of director at the Agency for Promotion and Support of Tourism (APPT) in February 2018.
