Toshkovski - Yoder: Strengthening cooperation with U.S. for prosperous and safe future

Skopje, 9 July 2024 (MIA) – Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski, who is part of the government delegation attending the NATO Summit in Washington, met with Brandon Yoder, Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL).
They discussed the key aspects of cooperation with our strategic partner, the United States, and the EU integration process, which is of vital importance for the future of Macedonia, the Ministry said.
“We also discussed the border management system and our reform plan, which also foresees the use of technological achievements aimed at more efficient surveillance of the green border,” Minister Toshkovski said after the meeting.
According to the Interior Ministry, one of the focal points of the meeting was the fight against organized crime and high corruption and ways for cooperation in terms of trainings and strengthening of human and material resources so as to better tackle these challenges.
“The meeting was an excellent opportunity to confirm our commitment and enhancing of the cooperation with the United States to meet our strategic goals and to provide safe and prosperous future for our citizens,” Toshkovski said after meeting Yoder.
