Toshkovski visits Hungary's Counter Terrorism Centre

Skopje, 13 November 2024 (MIA) - As part of his visit to Budapest, Minister of Interior Panche Toshkovski visited Hungary's Counter Terrorism Centre (TEK) and the National Standby Police (Keszenleti Rendőrség). 

Toshkovski headed a delegation of the Ministry of Interior (MoI) to the 7th Ministerial Conference of the Budapest Process, the MoI said in a press release. 

"During the two visits, I held meetings with the directors, where I was briefed on the organizational structure and capacities of these departments, as well as their approach to dealing with modern security challenges. We discussed possibilities for cooperation in the area of training for our police forces, aimed at strengthening the capacities and promoting the knowledge and skills that are vital for dealing with a variety of security situations. This exchange of experience assured me that there is strong support and readiness for joint action and partnership, which will contribute to better security in our region," Toshkovski pointed out.

Minister Toshkovski highlighted commitment to building international relations and partnerships that will strengthen the police force and provide greater security for all citizens.
