Skopje, 5 August 2025 (MIA) — In a Facebook post published earlier Tuesday, Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski shared a video of a person dancing on the hood of a vehicle that was caught speeding on a Skopje boulevard.

The interior minister said risking lives was not worth the few seconds of attention on social networks. "Let this case be a reminder that any reckless behavior will be sanctioned," Toshkovski wrote.

After the video was shared on social media, the Interior Ministry said charges had been filed against the people who had violated the Law on Traffic Road Safety and the Law on Road Transport.

Charges have been filed against a 20 year old from Skopje for transporting a person outside of the designated passenger area of a vehicle; for driving without a driver's license; and for driving a vehicle without license plates.

Charges have also been filed against a 19 year old from Skopje being transported outside of the designated passenger area of a vehicle -- for allowing a person without a driver's license to drive a vehicle and for endangering their own safety, the Interior Ministry said. mr/
