Toshkovski, Bojmacaliev meet Tiganj: Croatia understanding over passport issue

Skopje, 26 February 2024 (MIA) - Ambassador Nives Tiganj told Monday caretaker Minister of Interior Panche Toshkovski and additional Deputy Minister Mitko Bojmacaliev that Croatia is understanding over the passport issue of Macedonian nationals.

Ambassador Tiganj said Macedonian nationals can use the old passports across Croatia, provided they are not expired, the Ministry of Interior said in a press release.

Toshkovski thanked Tiganj for prior cooperation and expressed assurance it would continue to develop in the future.

Deputy Ministry Bojmacaliev also expressed gratitude for prior cooperation while noting the commitment for implementation of free, fair and democratic elections.

Ambassador Tiganj highlighted the long-standing cooperation and reaffirmed Croatia as a staunch supporter of North Macedonia's EU integration, reads the press release.
