Skopje, 19 July 2024 (MIA) – Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski held a working meeting with the Minister of Digital Transformation Stefan Andonovski on Friday, focusing on initiating the processes for digital transformation of services and processes within the Ministry.

The meeting’s focus, as reported by the Interior Ministry, was on improving current electronic services, developing new ones, and launching a new Interior Ministry website for easy and quick access to essential information for citizens.

"We also explored the possibility of digitizing personal documents, such as electronic IDs, developing an electronic application for weapon permits, and other opportunities for digitalizing police work and processes. These measures aim to create a more efficient, modern police force that, by leveraging the benefits of modern technology, will deliver more effective services and greater security for all citizens," Minister Toshkovski noted.
