Ohrid, 6 December 2024 (MIA) - Three members of Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi’s security detail were injured Friday in a traffic accident on the Ohrid-Kichevo motorway, near the village of Novo Selo.  

The accident was confirmed by Speaker Gashi during his visit to Ohrid, who said the injured members of his security are in a good condition but will be kept in the hospital overnight.

“The security was involved in a traffic accident. We immediately went to the hospital, we saw the three members of the security. All diagnoses and analyses are being carried out. We were informed that there are no serious injuries, but they will be kept in the hospital overnight in case something happens in the meantime,” Gashi said.

The accident, according to Gashi, is one more message to everyone involved in the construction of the Kichevo-Ohrid motorway to ensure intensive and high-quality work.
