Skopje, 16 July 2024 (MIA) — There are 13 active fires on the territory of North Macedonia and three have been put out, the Crisis Management Center said late on Tuesday night.

Fires are raging in Skopje's municipalities of Saraj, Sopishte, Zelenikovo and Studenichani. 

In addition to the fires near Bitola and at Serta mountain near Negotino, there are also fires burning in Shtip, Novo Selo, Chashka, Dolneni, Gevgelija, Radovish, Delchevo and Lipkovo.

Earlier in the day, firefighters put out the fires in the municipalities of Makedonski Brod, Rosoman and Cheshinovo-Obleshevo. mr/
