Skopje, 19 May 2024 (MIA) - Motorcyclists in suits and ties will take part Sunday at "The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride" on Skopje streets, raising awareness over men's health and prevention of prostate cancer.
About 170 participants from the country and abroad are expected to ride, including doctors, professors, public personalities etc, who will donate funds to the London-based "Movember" charity.
This year's Distinguished Gentleman's Ride is held in 959 cities across the globe, including 90,000 motorcyclists from 105 countries.
Skopje has been part of this movement since 2016, with 1,172 participants until now.
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride unites classic and vintage styled motorcycle riders from all over the world to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health. It was founded in Sydney, Australia, by Mark Hawwa. It was inspired by a photo of TV Show Mad Men’s Don Draper astride a classic motorcycle and wearing his finest suit. Mark decided a themed ride would be a great way of connecting niche motorcycle enthusiasts and communities while raising funds to support the men in our lives.
