Skopje, 4 December 2024 (MIA) - Inspectors on the ground identified irregularities which is why one of the teachers who organized the event will be held accountable, Minister of Education and Science Vesna Janevska said on Wednesday asked about the inspection carried out in the primary school “March 7” in the village of Chelopek following reports that it hosted an event where pupils were carrying rifles while dressed in military uniforms bearing National Liberation Army (NLA) emblems.

“Both the school principal and the mayor will be informed and asked to act in line with the law. But, what is most important in my view is that both in this school, and other schools where we had reports of irregularities which we couldn’t verify, but there was some kind of revolt, we will carry out a training on coexistence, multiculturalism, multiethnicity, and for this we will request assistance from the OSCE as well,” Janevska told journalists ahead of a conference.
