Stoltenberg to arrive in Skopje for two-day visit

Skopje, 21 November 2023 (MIA) - NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will arrive Tuesday afternoon for a two-day visit to Skopje as part of his Western Balkans tour.

Stoltenberg will kick off his official visit at the Government, followed by a joint press conference with his host, Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski.

In the afternoon, the Secretary General will address the Parliament of North Macedonia and will also meet with President Stevo Pendarovski.

On Wednesday, Stoltenberg and Kovachevski will meet in Skopje with the leaders of NATO countries from the region – the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama; the President of Croatia, Zoran Milanović; the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Milojko Spajić; and the Prime Minister of Slovenia, Robert Golob.

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Sunday, kicking off a mini tour of four Western Balkan countries. The Secretary General departed Monday afternoon to Kosovo and on Tuesday morning he will be in Serbia.
