Stoiljkovikj, Nikoloski, Mucunski to pay working visit to Serbia

Skopje, 2 September 2024 (MIA) — A government delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Relations Between the Ethnic Communities Ivan Stoiljkovikj and including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications Aleksandar Nikoloski and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski will pay a working visit to Serbia on Sept. 4-5.
According to an official press release, the Macedonian delegation will meet with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic as well as with representatives of several government ministries.
The high-level talks will focus on improving bilateral cooperation; promoting Macedonian business companies at EXPO2027; holding regular intergovernmental sessions between the Macedonian and Serbian governments; exploring opportunities for cooperating with third markets; and intensifying Open Balkan activities, the release says.
The meeting reflects the level of excellent ties between the two countries, the release adds, and it will also serve as a preparation for Serbian Prime Minister Milos Vucevic's upcoming visit at the invitation of Macedonian PM Hristijan Mickoski, scheduled for the end of September. mr/
