Skopje, 16 February 2023 (MIA) - In the period January 30-February 12, 2023, the State Market Inspectorate has carried out over 1,100 inspections across North Macedonia, issuing more than 150 misdemeanor payment orders worth over Mden 5.5 million.   

In the same period, 38 inspections were carried out in terms of the decision on limiting the margin, where no violations or cases of non-compliance with the decision were found.

According to the State Market Inspectorate, the misdemeanor orders include 45 under the law on trade, 16 under the law on hospitality, 16 under the law on protection against smoking, two under the law on prohibition and prevention of unregistered activity, 79 under the law on financial discipline and two are under the law on consumer protection.
