Skopje, 3 November 2022 (MIA) – Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi met on Thursday with the Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alibek Kuantyrov and voiced confidence that the visit is another opportunity to exchange opinions and experiences on several issues of mutual interest. He expressed his satisfaction that bilateral relations are characterized by friendship, mutual interest in further expansion and deepening, especially from the economic aspect. Xhaferi welcomed the signing of the protocol for the first meeting of the joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation adding that this step will further strengthen the relations between the two countries thus creating better conditions for the work of companies, business and a better life for the citizens. “Kazakh Minister of National Economy Alibek Kuantyrov expressed his satisfaction with the reception in the Parliament of the Republic of North Macedonia and emphasized that he was honored by the successful bilateral meeting. He said that Kazakhstan is a major trade partner of the EU and from that aspect, and a supporter of the European market, which ranks first in the Republic of Kazakhstan for economic import and export. In this regard, Kuantyrov said, we strongly support you on your Euro-Atlantic path,” Parliament said in a press release. He also underscored the excellent cooperation between the two countries and expressed his willingness to continue deepening cooperation in all fields, especially in the field of economy.
