Skopje, 9 January 2024 (MIA) - Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi paid a traditional visit to the Head of the Macedonian Orthodox Church-Ohrid Archbishopric (MOC-OA), HH Stefan on Tuesday to extend Christmas greetings and congratulate his name day - Saint Stephen.

"Parliamet Speaker Xhaferi wished HH Stefan, the head of the Orthodox religious community, good health and well-being, success, wisdom and faith in fulfilling the highest spiritual mission, giving his contribution to building a secure future for younger generations and progress. During the meeting, he also met with President Stevo Pendarovski and members of the Holy Synod at MOC-OA," Xhaferi's cabinet said in a press release. ssh/sk/
