Speaker Xhaferi extends Christmas greeting

Skopje, 6 January 2023 (MIA) – Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi extended on Friday a greeting to all orthodox faithful in the country on the great holiday of the Birth of Jesus Christ – Christmas, wishing citizens good health, joy in their hearts and prosperity in their homes.

“In this time of the year, when one of the central holidays of Christianity – Christmas is celebrated after the New Year holidays, it is possible again for all the citizens who celebrate it, as well as their loved ones, fellow citizens, neighbors, friends and colleagues, to feel the magic that the holiday brings. It is another opportunity to feel the warm hugs, to see wide smiles and to hear beautiful and noble thoughts of mutual respect, understanding, compassion and solidarity, which are necessary in these challenging times for humanity and the world in general,” said Xhaferi.

May you be guided by positive thoughts, Xhaferi adds, may they be an occasion to do good, together and individually.

“Every gesture, no matter how small and insignificant, is a drop in the wave that takes us and the Republic of North Macedonia forward. Only together we are strong, only with a helping hand we are a significant factor and an example for the region. May we reflect hope, so that we have hope for peace, progress and prosperity for all in the future. Merry Christmas!” says Xhaferi in his Christmas greeting.
