Skopje, 26 August 2024 (MIA) - Health Minister Arben Taravari told media Monday he doesn’t believe Levica’s motion for the interpellation of Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi will be successful.
“Based on what I am hearing, I don’t believe it will pass. The bigger parties that are in the government coalition won’t vote for it. It will be unsuccessful, but it offers a chance for those that are in the opposition to create a spectacle,” Taravari said.
The interpellation of Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi will be discussed by lawmakers at a session set for September 3. Last week, Prime Minister and VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski told journalists they won’t support the motion, while SDSM leader Venko Filipche said Monday he would meet with the MPs to discuss the issue, but urged VMRO-DPMNE to dismiss Gashi.
