Skopje, 2 December 2024 (MIA) - Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi who is on official visit to Sweden, had an audience Monday with King Carl XVI Gustaf, accompanied by MPs Dafina Stojanoska, Bekim Sali and Mitko Trajchuleski.

According to Parliament, the Speaker and MPs stressed that the Kingdom of Sweden is a sincere and respected supporter of the Republic of North Macedonia, noting that the bilateral relations are characterized by a high degree of friendship, mutual understanding and support. They were informed that the Swedish King has visited the country on two occasions and has especially fond memories of Ohrid. 

After the audience, the King and Speaker Gashi had a bilateral meeting.
