Skopje, 28 August 2024 (MIA) - Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi congratulated the Assumption of the Holy Mother of God to all Orthodox believers on Wednesday.

"May this day bring lots of joy and health in your families. These holidays represent an opportunity to remind ourselves on the importance of respecting religious holidays and customs. Let these holidays serve as a reminder that we will always stand by each other and with one another," Speaker Gashi says in the note.

He adds that humility, honesty and warmth among people, regardless of their background, should not be forgotten.
