Skopje, 27 March 2023 (MIA) - An informal meeting of the US-Adriatic Charter (A5) initiative will take place in Skopje on Tuesday, in the framework of North Macedonia's A5 presidency.

Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani will chair the meeting attended by counterparts and senior officials of A5 member-states and observers, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.

The meeting will focus on the opportunities for strengthening of the Charter's political role in the context of the current regional developments and security challenges. Discussions will also tackle the Russian aggression in Ukraine, its impact on the region, as well as prior and future support of A5 countries to Ukraine.

FM Osmani will hold a press conference after the informal meeting.
