Skopje, 15 September 2022 (MIA) - The second part of the program of the 10th Pride Weekend in Skopje, starting Thursday, September 15, going on until September 17, will take place in multiple venues across Skopje. A performance titled L'ETHIQUE by Matthieu Hocquemiller, performed by Patrice Desmons & Pierre Emö will kick off the program at the Youth Cultural Center (MKC). "The event will take place at MKC, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and the club Stanica 26. Skopje Pride Weekend is a queer arts & culture festival that creates spaces of non-normative forms of worldmaking that have been marked, by the heteronormative, nationalistic and neoliberal capitalist context, as queer failures. Ecstatic Bodies is the baseline curator theme of this year's festival edition," said the organizers. The coalition MARGINS and the LGBTI Support Center has organized the event, which is realized in partnership with Locomotive, MoCA, Tiiiit! Inc. and SCS Center-Jadro, backed by the Ministry of Culture, the Heinrich Böll Stiftung Foundation, the US Embassy, the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, the French Embassy, the Open Society Macedonia Foundation and the Sigrid Rausing Trust. dk/ba/
