Skopje hosts conference on fight against corruption in Western Balkans

Skopje, 21 November 2024 (MIA) – The U.S. Embassy in Skopje, in collaboration with the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), is organizing Thursday and Friday the Western Balkans Anti-Corruption Conference.

Ambassador Angela Aggeler and Deputy Prime Minister for Good Governance Arben Fetai will open the event, the U.S. Embassy said.

The two-day regional conference aims to foster a multi-sector regional network of “anti-corruption champions” — professionals from government, the judiciary, civil society, and business sectors dedicated to combating corruption, added the press release.

This event brings together participants and speakers from North Macedonia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Serbia and Montenegro.
