Kiev, 31 August 2023 (dpa/MIA) - All six men on board were killed when two Ukrainian military helicopters crashed, according to army sources.

The Mi-8 helicopters crashed for unknown reasons near Kramatorsk in eastern Ukraine, a spokesman for the Ukrainian army air force said on television on Wednesday.

The bodies were found in the wreckage of the completely destroyed aircraft. The cause of the crash is being investigated.

According to sources close to the military, the helicopters had been on a mission on Tuesday, but there was no mention of a shooting down.
