Skopje, 1 February 2024 (MIA) - Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, VMRO-DPMNE's candidate at the last presidential elections, says she is still contemplatingt whether to run again.

Siljanovska-Davkova told Kanal 5 she has discussed the topic with the VMRO-DPMNE leader but hasn't made a final decision.

"I don't know yet, I am considering this through the prism of my life. There is still no final decision," says Siljanovska-Davkova and adds that anyone can submit a candidacy and present a programme at the VMRO-DPMNE convention, but the party delegates make the final decision.

On announcements of the opposition parties of ethnic Albanians over a joint candidate, Siljanovska-Davkova says she has no issue with the ethnicity of the presidential hopefuls, noting she considers knowledge and eloquence to be the most important aspects.

"It is high time we put knowledge first, not partisan affiliation," says Siljanovska-Davkova.
