Siljanovska-Davkova in Debar: Mr. Pendarovski's defeat is inevitable, my victory is clear

Debar, 27 April 2024 (MIA) - VMRO-DPMNE's presidential candidate Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova visited Debar and Rostushe Saturday afternoon, where she held meetings with citizens, expressed gratitude for their support, and announced that they would celebrate victory together on the evening of May 8.

“You deserve my gratitude for the support in the first round; without your votes, the result wouldn't have been as inspiring as it is, not just for me, not just for VMRO-DPMNE, but for all citizens. We didn't campaign by telling you that you must vote for us, but we know who you will vote for. You will vote for the better ones, you will vote for those who bring changes, not for those who admit their mistakes but now try to fix what they've done wrong, because that's impossible," Siljanovska-Davkova said in Debar.

"I continue from where we stopped, where you told us to stop because the votes are yours, the votes belong to the citizens, and we will not forget that. If I said I expected a political earthquake in the first round, it happened, even with greater destructive force, which affected SDSM, but on May 8, I expect a political volcano, because some processes can detected and cannot be avoided,” she added.

“The defeat of SDSM, DUI, and the coalition is inevitable, and the victory of VMRO-DPMNE and the coalition is inevitable. The defeat of Mr. Pendarovski is inevitable, and my victory is clear. This government must go,” she said.

"I will be a president for everyone, approaching people in a non-partisan manner, showing respect to citizens irrespective of their ethnic, religious, or any other background, as presidents, particularly female ones, should unite rather than divide. I will serve with dedication and responsibility, as Macedonia is my diverse family. Only then will we restore our pride, and Macedonia will have reasons to be proud," Siljanovska-Davkova noted.

At the meetings in Rostushe, she expressed confidence that the victory on May 8 will be even greater.

"They have no chance for recovery, but for us, let me remind you, on the evening of May 8 or 9, there's a chance for an even bigger victory, together with the parliamentary elections and VMRO-DPMNE. Because the president and the prime minister are heads of the executive branch, I believe we'll be even stronger," Siljanovska-Davkova said in Rostushe.
