Skopje, 27 December 2025 (MIA) – The Defense Ministry and the Army on Saturday will hold two holiday events at the Strasho Pindzur barracks in Skopje, including a video call with Macedonian peacekeepers with members of their families in attendance and handing out of New Year’s presents to the children of the servicepeople deployed to serve in peace missions.

President and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, Minister of Defense Vlado Misajlovski and Chief of the Army General Staff, Major General Sashko Lafchiski will speak on the video call with Macedonian servicepeople in missions in Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lebanon, Latvia, Romania, Bulgaria and Germany before handing out presents to the children of the peacekeepers.

President Siljanovska-Davkova, Minister of Defense Misajlovski and Chief of the Army General Staff, Major General Sashko Lafchiski will address the peacekeepers via the video call, said the Defense Ministry.
