Skopje, 2 June 2024 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova presented awards Sunday to the best runners at the 8th edition of the Ohrid Running Weekend.

Miljana Ristikj and Dario Ivanovski from Macedonia, in the women's and men's competition respectively, are the winners of the main 21-kilometer race, while Miroslav Spasov from Bulgaria secured first place in the five-kilometer race.

"The President expressed satisfaction with the high potential and dedication of this year's competitors, who undoubtedly will contribute to their future significant marathon accomplishments. She also extended special thanks to the organizers of this year's Ohrid Running Weekend for the successful realization of the event, with a record-breaking 2,200 participants from 31 countries," the President’s Office said in a press release.
