"From the bottom of my heart, I wish you good health, love and harmony on this holiday filled with joy and happiness that we can enjoy the fruits of the great work of the Thessaloniki brothers," Siljanovska Davkova said.

"It is thanks to them that the Slavic nations were able to develop their spirituality, culture, education, and science. Macedonian linguistic and cultural identity as well as our worldview and cosmopolitanism are based on their work and achievements, and on their philanthropy," the President said.

"Ss. Cyril and Methodius showed that with knowledge, thirst for the truth, righteousness, dedication, humanism and nobility, we can overcome limitations and defeat injustices," she added.

"May the feat of the holy brothers continue to be our guidepost and moral and spiritual vertical for a life of dignity and fulfillment," Siljanovska Davkova said. mr/
