Skopje, 29 July 2024 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova has appointed a chairperson and members of the Pardoining Commission. 

Metodija Kanevchev has been appointed as chairperson of the commission, while Gordan Kalajdzhiev, Arlinda Kadri Shahinovikj, Zora Mitikj, Ana Gjorgjieva Ivanovska, Sashe Dimovski and Ajten Shaqiri have been appointed members of the commission, the President's Office said in a press release. 

"In electing and appointing the members of the Pardoning Commission, President Siljanovska Davkova was guided by the criteria of expertise, competence and competitiveness. The appointed members are prominent experts in the field of law," reads the press release.
