Shaqiri: Textbooks will be available in first semester
Skopje, 29 September 2022 (MIA) – Minister of Education and Science Jeton Shaqiri believes the textbooks not available yet will be ready during the first school semester.
“I believe the textbooks will be available in the first semester. With the beginning of the new concept for primary education, new programs have been drawn up for first, second, fourth and fifth grades. After the national council for textbooks was set up in January-February, a public call was made for the registration of authors,” Shaqiri told Thursday’s Q&A session in Parliament.
He noted that according to his latest communication with the national council, all approved textbooks have been sent to the Education Development Bureau, adding that the opinion of the reviewers is then expected.
