Skopje, 12 July 2022 (MIA) – Cooperation between the state and the NGO sector is one of the conditions for development and strengthening of interculturalism, mutual respect and cooperation among communities in the country, said Minister of Education and Science Jeton Shaqiri at the signing of a cooperation memorandum with the Nansen Dialogue Center in Skopje on Tuesday. The Ministry of Education and Science said the goal of the memorandum is to enhance cooperation and take measures and activities to support the continuous professional development of education stakeholders in the sphere of interculturalism, as well as contribution in the development of strategic and innovative intercultural approaches and practices. “The signing of this memorandum continues the successful cooperation with the Nansen Dialogue Center, which has been implementing training and study trips for elementary and high school teachers with the goal to promote and develop interculturalism in education in North Macedonia,” Shaqiri said.
