Skopje, 20 September 2021 (MIA) – Minister of Labor and Social Policy Jagoda Shahpaska said on Monday that the situation in kindergartens is stable, adding that experts have found that there’s no virus transmission there. “The situation in kindergartens has been stable for a year. This morning I briefed the crisis HQ that only 13 kindergarten teachers and staff members, as well as nine children, are currently infected with the virus nationwide,” the Minister told reporters. Moreover, she added that in the past week authorities conducted surprise inspections to see whether kindergartens abide by protocols. The State Sanitary and Health Inspectorate’s report shows that protocols are followed and that there’s no virus transmission in kindergartens. “The report, which was submitted to the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, shows that they fully abide by protocols and that there’s no horizontal virus transmission in kindergartens,” Shahpaska stressed.
