Several people taken to hospital after suspected chlorine poisoning at Ohrid hotel swimming pool
Ohrid, 9 December 2023 (MIA) — Several people who had visited an indoor swimming pool at an Ohrid hotel were taken to the hospital after showing chlorine poisoning symptoms, a police report said.
The Ohrid Police Department received a call about the incident on Friday at 7:55 pm.
"Ohrid residents M.R. (24) and A.B. (19) as well as Skopje residents J.A. (45) i A.P. (37) were taken to the Ohrid General Hospital whereas Gj.A. (42) and two minors, all from Skopje, were taken to the Struga General Hospital," the report said.
Ohrid police were sent to inspect the pool facility. A public prosecutor and Center for Public Health inspectors have been notified about the incident. mr/
